Breaking News: Read Major Changes Made in UGC NET 2018 Exam!

As per the recent news, UGC NET exam will be organized by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on the place of CBSE.

Candidates who are desirous of getting admission to India’s reputed institutes for research and lectureship need to be aware of the changes in UGC NET December 2018.

NTA made some changes in the structure of NET exam. Here, I’ve wrapped up all the changes in this single blog. Check out below!

# Use of Aadhar Card in UGC NET 2018

Recently the National Testing Agency has released a notification related to Aadhaar card to fill the UGC NET 2018 Application Form.

Candidates who are going to apply for NET exam, have to know that from this year Aadhar Card is no more mandatory. The Aadhar number is only one of the types of identification. Candidates can also use any other valid Government identity number for identification such as Passport number, Ration Card number, Bank Account number.

# NET Exam Conducted in Multiple Sessions

As per the NTA announcements, UGC NET exam will be conducted in multiple sessions. NET exam will be conducted from 9th December to 23rd December 2018 in two sessions per day on Saturday and Sunday. Candidates would have the option of choosing their dates.

# NTA introduces Normalization Procedure in Results

NTA will use “Normalization procedure based on Percentile Score” for comparing UGC NET 2018 results across multi-session papers. It will ensure that candidates are neither benefitted nor disadvantaged due to the difficulty level of examination.

Except these changes NTA will conduct the NET exam in same manner as the last year. Means UGC NET Syllabus, eligibility criteria and exam pattern will remain same.

Candidates must know about what’s new in UGC NET 2018 Exam, so they will be updated with all the changes in exam structure and keep them in mind.
