NTA Has Announced the UGC/CSIR NET Exam Dates
UGC NET and CSIR NET exam dates are postponed due global pandemic COVID-19. Now, NTA has announced the new dates for both exams.
UGC NET exam will be held from 16th to 18th and 21st to 25th September 2020 and CSIR NET exam will be conducted in the second week of November 2020.
NTA Released A New Update for Economically Weaker Section
NTA has announced the notification for the candidates of
the Economically Weaker Section according to the Certificate issued by the
Competent Authority. They have to mention their category when fill the JEE Main
Application Form and UGC NET 2020 Application Form. This was done to implement the
reservation to be admitted to the Central Educational Institution.
Candidates are not required to upload the certificate of
the EWS category in the online application form, but at the time of admission /
appointment this certificate is required.
National Testing Agency Changed the UGC NET Exam Pattern
NTA has changed the exam pattern of UGC NET. UGC NET exam
has two papers i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both papers will be performed in a
single three - hour duration in computer - based test mode. Previously Paper 1 was
conducted in 1 hour then candidates were benefited with 30 minutes gap and then
Paper 2 was conducted in 2 hours.
Mobile App for Mock Tests Launched by National Testing Agency
To help for
the candidates, a mobile application has been launched by the NTA. Through this
app candidates can practice or take mock test papers on their smartphones.
National Testing Agency Has Started JEE Main Form Correction Process
Many
candidates make mistakes while filling the JEE Main 2020 form. These errors may
be spelling errors in their personal details, errors when uploading images
(Photo and Signatures), incomplete educational details, etc.
NTA has provided
an opportunity to the candidates make correction in their application form by starting
JEE Main Correction Process.
Aspirants are
advised to make corrections before the last date from official website.
